Warranties:

Janssen Computers Corp 3 Marsh Court, Madison, WI, 53718 will be referred to as Janssen Computers throughout the rest of the document.  Janssen Computers warrants all products that it sells to be free of defects and in working order (unless otherwise specified) within the warranty period pertaining to the particular items sold (as listed below). Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under warranty.  Janssen Computers reserves the right to repair or replace any defective item at their discretion. All warranties are to the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to present the original receipt to validate and access all warranty services.  Warranties provided by the manufacturer are though the manufacturer only; Janssen Computers does not support or provide warranty services for manufacturer warranties (unless so authorized).  Purchasing items from Janssen Computers implies understanding of the warranty and exchange policies of Janssen Computers.  The purchaser agrees to have all conflicts resolved according to the laws and regulations of Dane County in the state of Wisconsin, USA.  There is no warranty or guaranty expressed or implied beyond those listed here, unless printed on the original invoice by Janssen Computers.

New Janssen custom-built computers:

New custom-built Janssen Computers have a warranty for a period of one (1) year on parts and labor.  Items returned within thirty (30) days of purchase will be issued a full refund in the amount of the original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under this warranty.

New hardware and peripherals:

Janssen Computers warranties all new hardware and peripherals (including new monitors) for a period of thirty (30) days.  Items returned within five (5) days of purchase will be issued a full refund in the amount of the original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  All warranties beyond this time are covered under and subject to manufacturer's warranty.  Items returned within thirty (30) days of purchase will be issued an in-store credit in the amount of original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  No items may be returned past thirty days.  Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under this warranty.

Used computers and monitors:

Janssen Computers warranties all used computers and monitors (unless specified) for a period of ninety (90) days on parts and labor.  Items returned within five (5) business days of purchase will be issued an in-store credit in the amount of original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under this warranty.

Used hardware and peripherals:

Janssen Computers warranties all used computers hardware and peripherals for a period of thirty (30) days.  Items returned within thirty (30) days of purchase will be issued an in-store credit in the amount of original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  No cash refunds or store credit will be issued beyond thirty (30) days after original purchase.  Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under this warranty.

Service:

Janssen Computers warranties all service work for a period of thirty (30) days.  Software, software issues and operating system issues or conflicts are not covered under this warranty.  Incidental failure of hardware not serviced by Janssen Computers is not under warranty.  Warranty issues must be presented with original invoice.

Software:

Software that has been opened cannot be returned.  Unopened software may be returned within five (5) business days of purchase for full refund.  Items returned within thirty (30) days will be issued an in-store credit in the amount of original purchase, less a ten percent (10%) restocking fee.  No items may be returned past thirty days.

Consumables:

Consumable products, including ink, toner, cmos batteries and laptop batteries are not covered under any warranty.

Misuse:

Abuse or misuse of any products purposely or accidentally will void warranty.  This includes dropping a product, using it in an unsuitable environment (hot, cold, wet, unclean or static charged), ignoring warning sounds or visuals, over clocking, over volting or modifying the product in any way.  Warranty validity is under the discretion of Janssen Computers Corp. and its employees.

Extended Warranties:

Janssen Computers offers extended coverage on specified items.  Extended warranties must be shown on the front side of the original invoice and only extend the time covered on the original warranty.  Extended warranties in no way offer warranty coverage to areas not covered within the original warranty.

Returns and refunds:

Items returned for refund or exchange must be presented with original invoice.  Refunds will be issued only to and in the name of the original purchaser.  All returns must be in original condition and be complete.  If items are missing or not in original condition all refunds or exchanges will be denied.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to present the original receipt to validate the access all refund/exchange services.  Purchasing items form Janssen Computers implies understanding  of the warranty and exchange policies of Janssen Computers.  The purchaser agrees to have all conflicts resolved within the according to the laws and regulations of Dane County in the state of Wisconsin, USA.  There is no warranty or guaranty expressed or implied beyond those listed here, unless printed on the original invoice by Janssen Computers.

Special Orders:

Special order items must be paid for in advance and cannot be returned unless defective. Evaluating hardware and software compatability for special order items is the sole responsibility of the customer. Software issues (including operating system compatability) and hardware compatability problems will not be accepted as valid reason for returning special order items unless agreement has been reached and recorded before the order to allow such a return. Janssen Computers will warrant special order items for 30 days from the date of purchase. A longer warranty may be provided by the manufacturer or original supplier for certain items. In these cases, warranty service past 30 days will be the responsibility of the manufacturer or original supplier.
